Our Sheffield podiatry clinic offers a full range of foot care treatments, from routine appointments to nail surgery and musculoskeletal assessment.
Ingrown toenails
We understand how painful ingrowing toenails can be, and we offer conservative management treatments, such as nail cutting and maintenance, which can be done during routine appointments. We also offer nail surgery, if the best treatment is to remove the nail that is causing the problem.
Each case is different, and we discuss treatment options during an assessment appointment, or routine podiatry appointment.

Foot Pain
Foot pain may be caused by overuse injuries, including sprains and strains, bone fractures, arthritis, or problems with nerves.
We undertake in-depth foot and ankle assessments to come to a diagnosis. We can then use this diagnosis to inform the treatment plan that is best for you. If necessary, we might inform your GP if we feel that onward referral is the right course of action.
For symptoms of foot and leg pain such as heel pain, plantar fasciitis, sciatica, tendinopathies and osteoarthritis, where appropriate, we might suggest stretching and strengthening exercises, the use of orthotic insoles, acupuncture and manual therapies such as joint mobilisation and manipulation.

Fungal nail infections and athlete's foot
Fungal nail infections and athlete's foot are very common foot problems, and we can usually treat these conditions and maintain foot and nail health during routine podiatry appointments. We supply various topical treatments for both athlete's foot and fungal nail infections for continued treatment at home. If the fungal infection is very long term or stubborn we may request oral anti-fungal medication from your GP. We would then your monitor foot health with regular appointments until the infection has cleared.

Routine Foot Care Appointments
These appointments are for regular foot care to help you manage commonly occurring podiatry issues such as corns, callus and long nails and verrucae. We use these appointments to monitor general foot health, in the same way you might have regular check ups with your GP or dentist.
As well as keeping you as comfortable as possible, regular foot care appointments can help to spot any early signs that might need checking by your GP.
